I'm glad you'll be writing more poetry soon. It might be a couple tries to get into the competition, but really, why do you write in the first place? For yourself, your friends, the people you love? Not to win some competition. I know I've said this before, but I think some of those lines in "Sunset Triptych" are absolutely beautiful, among my favorites. And I'm sure I'm not the only one with that sentiment. I guess what I want to say is, I'm not gonna buy that book of poetry from Berkeley. But I am eager to read more on Livejournal. So get to work! :)
Thanks Ryan, you're a great friend. I really appreciate your support. Sometimes, like we were talking about, it's hard to know if anyone reads what I put up on this thing (which is the only place where I put anything I write.) So I guess that's the motivating force behind trying to get published. But you are right. I just wish I had some outlet besides livejournal. But I guess it's something, right? So thank you again.
