There is always that annoyance when you do something, and someone else does it better without a flinch or second though, as second nature. Or that whole, "Its been done already by someone elsewho is better and all you can do is copy it blah blah."
There was this one woman, I can't remember her name, but she took pictures of already famous pictures stating that everything has already been done. But thats bullshit. Only a lot of things have been done, but there is so much more.
Hey, what do you know? Your poem affected me. Hah, thats what you've been wanting all along from people, right? Maybe you just have to be in the right mood to do these kinds of things. I'm tired and rambeling. They [wolf camera] made me go do work today even though today is my day off.
I was thinking of taking a piano class at de anza, which I was actually looking at a few minutes before I read this which is funny. Well, the kind of funny that isn't funny but is actually coincidental.

Thanks, I'm happy you liked it. With any piece of art (whoops, dirty word) it's amazing when it strikes you just right. There's a great feeling of things being exposed, or falling into place, or, well, a great feeling of SOMETHING. I love your photography Kiley (you too Jenny), and the feeling of creation is addictive. Your photos are yours and no one has ever done what you've done. Whether you see value in what you do or not is a personal issue, but it takes doing something, anything, to get a something you're closer to being happy with. So, I guess the point is just keep it up. It's a lesson I need to learn too.

I came across your site by accident, after Googling for a Highway 1 sign. I was quite taken by your poem, though. As it happens, I am one who is proficient at piano, and I can and do write music. I enjoy that, and would be devastated if I lost that gift. On the other hand, that doesn't stop me from wishing I could write fiction. I've tried many times, and the result is really similar to how you describe your attempts at playing the piano: occasional small successes, but nothing sustained. I guess the various Muses smile on whom they will!
Anyway, you have a gift for poetry--keep it up!
