These curses have spared me until now but every streak must run out and the winds are constantly changing. I have not seen the City from inside before and would have remained merrily in the forest if given the choice.

Do tell, who are you that I find myself bound to, and where am I?

Are you safe, Legolas?

I assume so, though I find myself bound to a young man and unable to loosen the chains that bind us. A strange magic it was that transported me here.

It is. I believe this curse is simply a mere nuisance, hopefully it shall pass without any lasting damages.

I will return to the forest once the opportunity presents itself. These chambers are not a place I would have chosen for myself, but a mere day will pass in little time.

Uh. Hi?

[Have an elf sitting on the floor next to the bed, fully dressed and bow on his back, studying Billy.]

And greetings to you.

M'Billy.

[He's actually mostly awake. He'd be all the way awake if he had more reason to worry about the person he's currently ... handcuffed to? Oh, great.]

Just so we're clear, I'm not into the whole chains thing.

Legolas Thranduilion.

[He's already tried opening the cuffs. It didn't work.]

You are within the chains, just like me and I have not found a way to release us yet. [Language confusion, get. Legolas and modern slang.]

In the forest?

You live there? But didn't the guide mention that it's dangerous to stay there?

I enjoy the comfort of the trees rather than the high walls of the City that I find myself in now. And this forest poses no threat to me that I cannot face.

You must be very strong. I can understand what you mean. The City is quite intimidating, if not noisy at times. But I prefer the beach that the forests.

I can hold my own with a bow and the forest means no harm to me. The trees have much to tell.
