I don't want to give Livejournal any more money, but man. I really wish the LJNote option was available for free account. Come on, LJ! There are so many douches out there, and I can't really log into my paid account every time I want to check and see if I need to avoid talking to somebody. Make it a feature for everybody!

When you hover over the little face icon next to usernames, you get a dropdown menu that says things like "send message" "remove friend" "send a virtual gift", etc. If you have a paid account, you get the option to write an LJNote.

Basically, this is a line of text that appears next to usernames that can say anything you want it to. It can be a note about what you want to get that user for their birthday, or a reminder to ask about something the next time the other person is online. Or, probably most commonly, they're used for those people you encounter every now and then who do nothing but make you angry, so that the next time you run into them, you can spare yourself the trouble and just not talk to them at all.

I am going to pray that I will never need it then. xD Because I cannot afford a paid account right now. lol
