Took a road trip up to Davis yesterday, and then promptly remembered why I left. 90 degrees, dusty and dry, and everyone - and I do mean everyone - was high. I'd forgotten what bad drivers Davisites are. I'd forgotten what bad pedestrians Davisites are

That second pic, with the statue, the tree and the orange flowers - that's just gorgeous.

All those flowers are new. I was really pleased to see them - the place used to be mostly just grass and trees and the occasional clump of pampas grass. It's much prettier now!
