Since Saturday, September 17th, thousands of people have been occupying Liberty Plaza in New York, as part of a protest to demand that the privileges granted to Wall St at the expense of the people be revoked

To be honest, this thing lost me when they started by setting a date for the "occupation", and then had a facebook poll to decide what they were protesting. I guess they were trying to be democratic, but it came across to me as people being more interested in being seen saying something than in what they had to say, which is hard for me to respect
