There isn't a whole lot for the bees to eat in my neighborhood, so I make sure to always have something blooming that they can feed off of. Which can be difficult, given the size of the garden! It's only 8'x12', and I've packed it full this year.
My roommate wanted to document me blogging for a class he's taking, so I was looking for old posts, and then bam. Post by you I hadn't replied to!
I made the best kimchee the other week, with the cabbage in that second image up there. WAY too salty but that's okay -- I just soak it in clean water for a half hour first, then use it sparingly, and NOM, omg. I highly recommend making it sometime.

I love bees. I talk to them. And to birds. People look the other direction when they hear me do it.
That is one hell of a garden.

I don't know about you, but it makes me so happy to see a regular honey bee in the garden, especially considering how threatened they are.

Also amused by the fact that in Washington, our yard was overrun with chamomile. Seriously you couldn't keep it out of anything.
