i wish snape hadn't died either. after the scene with the pensieve i got really teary about the whole situation. i was sad fred died, too. both were unnecessary, i think.
But since he was headmaster, doesnt that mean that he'll show up in a portrait at hogwarts? i hope so, cause then he could talk to harry D: he really didnt deserve death at all ;3;
and yeah the book overall was good :3 i kept thinking dumbledore was going to come back somehow, with how harrys wand acted on its own, and then how he kept seeing "dumbledores" eyes in the mirror. oh well, he got ot talk to him, at least :/
yeah! :0 actually, i cant see why she didnt die. she was in the middle of the fighting the entire time :| i would kind of rather have her die than fred. D:
same... I much prefer Fred and George over Ginny. Ginny ALWAYS felt two-dimensional instead of three... the only book where she actually had a self was in the second one, where Harry couldn't stand her.
Fred seemed more of an unnecessary death than Snape (also, if Snape was injured by Voldy then it would've been by Dark Arts, and it had been pointed out earlier in the book, with the blowing-off-of-George's-ear, that using healing spells and whatnot to cure those types of wounds is impossible. You know, as a plot device. >.o). And Harry hadn't known a whit about Snape's real intentions, because he is dumb.
And, was it just me, or for a greatly feared and powerful wizard that had pretty much gained immortality and just taken over the wizarding world, didn't Voldemort seem a bit... stupid? That was what really annoyed me.
Nagini Killed snape through a bite in the neck, Voldemort didnt actually kill him with a curse.
But yes, fred was also an uneccessary death, i think J.K Rowling was just on some sort of killing spree.
Voldemort was just too consumed in himself to realize anything. he didnt think harry would be able to kill him, and he also thought he had everything under control :/
Ah, there goes me for paying attention. ^ ^;; although, to tell the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if Nagini was warped through dark magic, what with her being a horcrux.
I think that whenever Rowling wanted to kill someone, she just closed her eyes and threw a dart at a list of not-so-minor characters tacked on the wall. I was really dissapointed with how Tonks and Lupin died. I mean, off-screen deaths aren't really a good idea for characters that important.

You'd think Voldemort would've followed the Evil Overlord List: http://www.eviloverlord.com/lists/overlord.html
