Not sure if I'm for or against this notion (if I'm against it it's CERTAINLY not because of religion purposes) but congrats nontheless.

If you're not against it for religious reasons, that's fine as long as you can back it up. I've had this arguement over on my old blog, but most people weren't giving more than personal inaccuracies regarding it.

Yeah, my opinions against it don't go much farther than the idea that everyone should get at least one day off a week. I didn't say that I was against it though because I definitely see the benefits. Statistically, however, from a business standpoint a business doesn't make any more for being open on Sundays. Mind you, some businesses are different depending on their market.

I understand, but by law, employers must grant employees a rest period of at least 24 hours in every 7 days. This just means that people may not get Sunday off.

The malls and stuff would only be open until 5 here as well. That's a universally accepted time for Sunday shopping.
