It's been a while since the last update. :o/ I've mostly been doing icons for challenges recently. I feel I might need to do a 50 or 100 claim somewhere, maybe that'll put some pressure on me to make more icons. ;o ( Read more... )

Theese are Fabby, not taking any, but I do have a question...

How do you shrink your caps down so that they are still smooth?

Hm. Not sure I understand what you mean exactly. I don't shrink my caps really, I crop them with the crop tool in Photoshop CS, to 100x100 or whatever I want them to be. Then I fiddle around with layers, colouring, brightness/contrast etc. Sharpen a bit and might smooth the skin as well if it's necessary.

Oh, my eyes are watering just reading these. Excellent icons.

But what would be the best is an animated icon of the giraffe gallop. That slays me every time.

I have caps of that actually and was planning to make it, but ended up making a few that seemed less complicated. I think I would need quite a few frames for that one. But I might try it out in the future, I love that bit as well. :oD
