I had a great experience in India where the ceiling seemed to no longer be there as water sprayed on us from all directions in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Turned out there was a gush right above the ceiling fan whick sprayed the water out like rain. We got lucky, other people had to be evacuated from their newly flooded rooms.
