Congrats on being accepted to both HBU and Howard! I can tell you whatever you want about HBU. I love it, so I am a little partial. I am speech comm and mass media. I live in the dorms, which is fabulous, and I work in the Spiritual Life Dept. I work in the ACTS Office and help to coordinate community service and missions. I love it. My work environment rocks. I love HBU, mostly because of the people. God has totally placed people in my life here at HBU that have gotten me through the hardest seasons of my life. By the grace of God I am able to be under the discipleship of some awesome upperclassmen. I love it here. I love everything about it. For the most part people here are welcoming and relational, and it's great. I am not sure what you are looking for...have any questions??
I am a mass media major, so I could tell you about that one. A graduate of our journalism major actually was just accepted to the AP in New York (she graduated last May). You do work in each major area of the media. I have taken my photo and writing classes already, so all that remains are my broadcasting classes. You are required to do 2 internships as well as compelete a portfolio to graduate. They work with you on those...The profs are great. My photo teacher has got to be one of the best teachers I have had. I know a lot of Christianity majors. They all love it. I have had some of my Christianiy classes and the profs have been great
