It's Friday - september 23 - and we're in Lufkin. A 2 hour trip took 4 1/2 hours and the only reason we got here this quickly was because we went north in the southbound lane. hey chick.....well, I'm home now. October 7 and I just got home. *My* apartment's okay but the unit in front of me is nothing but a pile of bricks. My parent's home did okay compared to some others....there's a tree through their bedroom and my sister's windows busted out from a tornado. They still don't have power. My office at TSO is completely destroyed....we think it can be rebuilt sometime next year. Thank God we might get paid until then. Other than that, it's day by day. School starts back up October 19 so maybe some type of "normal" will happen again. It's just all so strange........
