Though spelled differently, it is also a term used to describe large rocks.

About the actual town, all I know is that the state's recently had some gerrymandering issues favorable to Republicans, which is the current political leaning of the state, though not strongly. I know there's been pollution issues in the area lately coming to a head this past winter, though no more about it than that, and I vaguely remember reading some news reports about the University in the context of it being a party school with students doing some typically foolish things involving the usual high blood alcohol levels.

So yes, I know something about Boulder, but not much. Also, how soon after the wedding are we talking? days or weeks?

Well, our lease here runs out on July 30th, so before then. ;) Which means probably right after the wedding. I don't think we're going to be doing a honeymoon immediately afterward.
