I could always pull out my class I did at GW on 16th cent polyphony. It's incredibly structured, so easier to do in an SCA format. Before I did it though I offered a simple music theory class. Okay, simple to me. But, it did let people know if they would be able to do the polyphony/comp class - if they couldn't make it through the theory class then they knew that they could only observe in the more advanced class (and some of them did...had about 5 people who really participated over 3-4 days...and none of them came to the intro class - I think they all had degrees...it was Master Avatar and his crew http://www.istanpitta.com/al_cofrin.html he probably knows gobs more than I do).

It was fun and there was lots of laughing.

I'm pretty good at the basic stuff. Maybe we could do something like we do with this class - I'll do the basic and you do the more advanced. With the other there to help out (or in my case learn). Might be worth thinking about.
