My lizard died this weekend. Falcon was a leopard gecko, low maintenance, and fun to watch. I'll probably bury him tomorrow (today technically). I'll miss him.

(I'll fill in the birth date when I find that info.)

You should have said something yesterday. sigh....I guess that's why you went home early today. Hang in there.

Twilight is ever near
Twilight is very clear
Twilight is coming
Night falls on life
Plight within sight
But thou shall never
Fall in the endeavor
Twilight will not take us
Night fall shall not take us
- Twilight of Life
Hang in there.

Thanks you guys, that really means a lot, you have no idea. This is the first time I've been brought to tears in a long time.

Actually Andrew I didn't say anything yesterday because I didn't know until that night. I got home and something smelled funny and I noticed Falcon was in the same position he had been since Saturday. But, yeah that is why I went home early today.

I got him when he was only a month or two old late August, early September 1996, so he was almost ten years old. Maybe it was just his time. I even built him a little coffin and I burned this on the lid:
Falcon
Beloved
Leopard
Gecko

I'll seal it with clear coat and bury him tomorrow in the backyard.
