so my exchange year is almost at an end. i have been here for over 300 days and i have 6 days left till I am back in the USA. this year has easily been the weirdest, toughest, best, funniest,craziest, crunkest, most interesting year of my life. people often ask me what i have learned, but i can never give them an answer although i know that i have

this is totally inappropriate since you're in the middle of adjusting and upheaval and an emotional roller coaster, and i feel like a jerk for asking, but could you send me/bring me back some örtsalt? i love that stuff; i eat it on everything and i'm completely out of it.

i'll compensate you however you want; if you want me to send you some cash when you get back or whatever, just let me know.

here's a photo of what it looks like, and you can find it in the salt aisle in the grocery, or by the kryddor, i don't remember exactly. but it's very, very common. i would be ridiculously grateful.

ps, the worst culture shock i ever got was in the airport on the way home from sweden. you'll be trying to carefully to keep this little cocoon of sverige wrapped aroudn you, and you'll be in denial that you're leaving, and all of a sudden you'll be crammed into a crowded area with a bunch of fat obnoxious american tourists who'll somehow all manage to either have southern or bronx accents and you'll want to make your ears fall off.
