I agree in general. The only potential danger I can see is a minority government pushing through legislation and daring the other parties to pull them down over it. Any party that opposes could be seen as forcing the country into another expensive and disruptive election when what we need is stability.
Of course, playing legislative chicken like that can only go on for so long before it backfires.
Still, I'm inclined to think that if we get the situation where we see hung/balanced parliaments more often it just means the parties will have to learn to be less adversarial and work on consensus building instead. Which seems like a good idea to me.
