Утро следующего дня начинается рано для нас. Просыпаемся сами, сказывается разница во времени. За окном ясное небо, день обещает быть ясным и ярким во всех смыслах этого слова.
Спускаемся на второй этаж гостиницы, там нас ждет завтрак. Здесь всё по другому; и система самообслуживания и предлагаемые продукты, ну мы же в Америке, значит нужно

I love to read foreigners' stories about America! In my first Russian post, the one that received a lot of attention and outrage on the Russian Internet, I spoke to the differences in our cultures. I focused on the lack of service in Russia - no one greets you with a smile. Workers act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you, when in fact it's their job. Our cultures are very, very different! I don't think you can really understand it until you have visited both countries

I studied Russian for a year and can read it okay, but usually use Google translate to understand the full text. And I don't write it well at all. Russian humor - no I don't get it. :) But one of my best friends is Russian, living in Moscow.
