Surprises and Presents...

My dear friend, satyrblade, posted this a few years ago.. and it completely puts into words how I feel about presents. And over the many years that I have read and re-read this, I felt (and still feel) it was a small present from him to his friends... and I wish to share his present with all of my friends. :)

Thank you for sharing this. It's a lot of what I feel about the holidays, too. I just am grateful to be together with loved ones that the physical things are secondary. I'm still hoping to be there, but with little Sam yet to show signs of the cold that recently ravaged our home, I'm not sure we'll be there. I have yet to break it to Mama...

May I repost these ideas? Should I ask satyrblade?
