When I adopted Cappie, I had no idea what he was.  He came from a shelter, and was a stray, so no one had any idea what he was.  They had him listed as a "terrier mix."  Probably because of his Jack Russell-esque colors.  But he has long, soft hair.  Not the typical wire/course hair of a long-haired terrier.  And he doesn't have that funky terrier

new features are startin to pop out and show, as he grows up
that would explain the hair, i spose. chis and pekignese can have the soft, long hair.

He's pretty much full grown. I'm sure he'll thicken up, like most dogs do between 1-2 yrs, but he only has one little baby tooth left, and he's had that one for a long time. i think it's just stuck.
