what is androgyny

Well I've asked this question in other groups, but I'd like your opinion too. I've run accross a lot of people who seem to think that androgyny is simply looking tho opposite sex from what you actually are. I've always considered it either looking sexless/genderless or being a complementary mix of both ( Read more... )

Agreed. Non-drag genderqueer, if you will, is about blurring distinctions, or locating oneself outside of the binary completely.

i disagree with the above commenter. it's about defining yourself with whatever collection of individual traits that make you comfortable in your own skin.

I totally agree with you! Androgyny in my opinion is looking genderless or as you said, a mixture of both. But most guys, who are considered as looking feminine look rather androgynous in my opinion!
