Brolli had a debt of honor he wanted to repay. Even he knew that fighting over you was stupid. Gokou backed down immedietly and didn't even join the exchange in Brolli's journal about this. So, it wasn't quite the way it looked. As far as I know, Nappa wasn't trying to fight you at all, but I might have missed something.
