Clearly...or you know, spending almost two hours to drive one mile, getting my AWD SUV stuck three times while Acuras and VWs cruised past me without issue. When I finally reached my destination, I then got stuck in the more than a foot of snow and spent another 1+ hours trying to get out of the driveway being pulled, or swung - almost into a fence post and further into snow embankments - by a tractor.
My chains went flying. AAA told me, and I quote, "We can't help you. Best of luck. Maybe you can call a cab, or the police." And the guy was, not surprisingly, rude. I have blisters on top of blisters and cuts from shoveling. I did however learn about 1st gear with regards to dealing with the snow. I just need to figure out what the burning smell is coming from when I down shift.
So yeah, today sucked. I had French fries and wine for dinner. I hope you guys had a good one.
