I thought it was a good thing to do for them, once they don't seem to have this kind of things frequently.

I actually am a big fan of this little and common things that are also very unique and important. Like sharing a scarf on a cold day or morning walk on the park when's autumn. Or even odder and smaller things, as getting a spoon in the kitchen for someone and waking up with a nice phone call~. These are the things I most like to write about and these are the things that most make my day ´w´~
