THIS happened less than a hundred yards from me. I went into that shop a couple of times a week. They used to give the kids sweets. I can't imagine there would have been anything in the till at that time of day either. He got stabbed over 20 packets of cigarettes :( Poor chap.

Like I just said to Abskii, I saw that and hoped it wasn't anyone you guys knew. That sucks. We have a shop like that on my street, and the guy that runs it is the nicest shopkeeper I have ever met. It just makes you hope it doesn't happen here next.

As for your comment about not wanting to bring up a kid in Luton....hell, I'm not sure I'd want to raise one in England, full stop.

Take her flowers, and maybe something to eat (she's probably not eating, I wouldn't). It's sweet that you want to help, just your sympathy will do a lot I'm sure. :)
