Once again too long for one comment. Also I'd like to apologize in advance for all the parentheses but I don't feel like going through and rephrasing to get rid of some of them.

It's interesting how Dylan's attitude towards racing off for missions of the week has changed because of the Magog Worldship. (Although it's also not totally consistent with the rest of this season which has plenty of mission-of-the-week episodes.)

Harper's proud debut of the new Command Deck design is adorable. Also I really like the new Command Deck design, but I miss the slipstream pilot's chair. (It makes sense for your pilot to be able to sit down and strap in! Do you really want your pilot thrown halfway across the deck mid-flight?)

Having the group that you're initially trying to protect from the big bad terrorists turn out to be drug dealers being persecuted by actual legal officials is a pretty decent twist.

But the bulk and the importance of this episode is in the A plotline with Trance and the Cigarette-Smoking Man. (I'm incapable of seeing William B. Davis without thinking "Cigarette-Smoking Man", I'm sorry.) And it's brilliantly done, with fantastic performances from both Davis and (especially) Bertram ( ... )

I agree that it was beautiful to have Cancer Man as the guest actor - though it did make it impossible to believe he was anything but evil.

Ditto in a few weeks when they have the Lone Gunmen's Byers as a guest - clearly he is a good guy because he is Byers.
