MSNBC announced at about midnight last night that North Korea had launched their first nuclear test. According to their Chinese neighbors, it caused a tremor of 3.6 because the test was conducted underground. Love, a bomb isn't going to hit NY. Their "long range" missiles can't reach past Western Europe.

However, this is big. And it is scary. :[

all Americans felt the dread of not only the impending world's end, but also the pain of knowing that George W. Bush will say "nuk-ya-ler" in every sentence for the next, hmm, 5 days we have to exist.

I decided that the next time I come home (for more than a day), we should learn how to play "Sunship Balloons" by the Flaming Lips. I like the bassline, it somehow reminds me of you. Go download it if you don't already have it on one of your CDs. What do you think?
