Since there are two teams heading into the mountains, I'm going to try my best to detail what we found there and what you should look out for:

- The path in is pretty much infested with domestic animals--cougars, bears, things like that. Most people with fighting ability can bring these guys down. (It's weird, that we've got more "normal" animals

Are the monsters like, swarming all over the place? I guess what I mean is, how many d'ya figure we'll run into?

Close enough. I wouldn't be calling the guy you want answers from an idiot, if I were you, kid.

They come in packs--except for the cougars. They'll attack you individually. As far as the numbers go, it depends on the time of day. When we went, it was mid afternoon, and they were pretty abundant. When we came back, it was evening, and they were kind of scarce. But, that might be because we were blazing through.

Hmm. Cougars are easy, but packs of monsters... I guess I don't know a lot about monster behavior, but animals are usually pretty active early in the morning. This is gonna be...

Like I said, the only real threats, aside from the bears, are the Saibamen. The cougars will probably be out later in the evening as well, so keep an eye out.

Height has nothing to do with how smart someone is! If it did, then you'd be making all short people look pretty dumb right now.

Huh. Good to know. I think the town team's got a few people with their chips, so we'll avoid the Behemoth as well as we can. I'll take anything I can get, so a copy of that map would be nice.

They're called Saibamen. They're also pretty damned stupid. A good blow to the head will take them out.
