Okay, less excited about the actual choice of actor than the fact that they're doing a Captain America movie at all, but STILL. :D

(And yeah, I know they announced this in 2008, but STFU I'm oblivious. >:()

I guess they can't put the movies in one continuity now or else there's gonna be questions why Captain America and Johnny Storm look so alike. That would be kind of fun, actually.

Oh, I just hope they get Steve right. I don't even care about Captain America that much, I care about Steve. He's so adorable, and nice and cares about people and I want him to be my friend. Is it weird that I like Cap? I can like Cap, too, right?

Well, hopefully they'll try to match his appearance to the comics, so it won't be too bad.

Nah, Steve's great. Cap is too, especially when he's being all mentor-y to the YA. God, I want them to get an ongoing again, I miss them so much. :(

(I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. <333 Heh, I just watched the first two seasons of Skins in one week. THAT SHOW IS AMAZING. <3)

I think he'd look pretty weird as a blond :/ His hair is too dark to make it look natural, I think. I'd be okay with him looking like he does.

I want them to melt all the single Avengers teams into a huge, dysfunctional Avengers family. And Steve would make them have family meetings and Eli's all, "You're not the boss of us." - Bucky glares. - "Dick." And then Bucky punches him. A comic like that would have to have giant-size issues every month though, lol.

(YES. Yes, it is. How I adored Chris and Maxxie and then Naomi and Emily (the two lovely ladies in my av) and Cook. I was all "NO, I'M NOT WATCHING THE THIRD SEASON, I WANT GEN 1 BACK!" Then I watched it in two days.)

Huh. Now I'm picturing it, and I have to agree. Well, hopefully they'll make it work.

OH MY GOD YES. I would read the shit out of that.

(Chriiiiiiiiiiis. ;_; God, I loved the episode with his funeral, and Jal's speech, and the car chase, and EVERYTHING. I wish they'd done more of Gen 1, but I'm definitely gonna watch seasons 3 and 4 when I can get my hands on them. Though I wish they'd done, like, a new cast of kids but with an episode or two devoted to the original cast as they got older, I wanted to see more of them, especially Maxxie and Anwar in London. And James, he was freakin' adorable.)
