And I'm so excited about it that I had to tell you about it, my flisties, and perhaps try and convert you too (because honestly, if any of you are already a fan you have kept quiet about it). I LOVE Being Human. But I'm deliberately not getting involved in the fandom at all, or writing fic, or talking about it on my journal. I want a show that i can just enjoy on its own merits (and Being Human is just SO good as it is) rather than having to get emotionally involved with it and the fandom. It's been SO long since I've seen a show (particularly a British one) that was SO good that I didn't need fandom in order to appreciate it.

Yay, appreciation! It really is brilliant. It's one of the only shows I can watch without nitpicking, which I do with the other shows I watch despite how much I like them.

But I like it far too much to not become involved :D

Yes - no nitpicking! The WONDER of watching an entire show without even ONCE having the urge to re-write a scene to make the dialogue more believable or fill in a plot hole. As much as I love Merlin, Doctor Who, Demons and Robin Hood - they are not even in the same LEAGUE as this show.

I watched the pilot and enjoyed it. Sky+ed the first episode of the series but haven't watched it yet and completely forgot about it this week.

I just watched the first episode - as I noticed that the second is repeated tonight! I enoyed it although because I Sky+ed the rerun that was on at 3am I got the signed languaged version and it was very distracting.

I also now understand your icon! You smell like a polo. Lol.

This show sounds awesome. I kinda think I need to watch this now. It seems to have all the things I love in a tv show. Werewolves, vampires, ghosts.

Also I was reading this in class and I'm kinda hoping no one saw me looking at the naked butt ;)
