I had to cancel the vets appointment. Ebony died this morning.

I'm sorry about Ebony, but at least it seems like she didn't die in pain, and that infact she died quite peacefully in her owner's arms.

I'm sorry about Ebony. My sisters guinea pig Spike died a couple of weeks ago, and it sounds like what happened to Ebony is the same thing that happened to Spike. It was really sudden too.

I'm keeping an eagle eye on the others now, just hoping that if it was an illness, it isn't one that the others might get too.

Thank you. I'm just grateful that she hung on until I woke up so I got to say goodbye. All deaths are horrible but it was a peaceful one, considering.
