you need some sort of "green lightning on black"- type of a crossbar foam cover, a la the huffy you got from Toys R Us when you were six or seven or whatever.

You should have got one of those bikes with the shield that makes them look like dirt bike, you know, like those kids from E.T.

Know know E.T.

dude it looks cool though!

for real though - my rational sort of goes like this:

i spend a lot of weekends with zoe up in santa barbara. up there the streets are jam packed with beach cruisers. it's like traffic on the 405 at rush hour! so road bikes are pointless. i've brought my mountain bike up in the past, and that's actually pretty fun. i just hate leaving it locked up outside because the saltwater mist wrecks it/rusts everything.
so i wanted to get a beater bike i can take with me up to santa barbara, and instead of getting a huge mountain bike and trying to cram that thing into my little car, i can just toss this thing in the back seat. i don't even have to put the seats down or anything!
and i can put pegs on the back and then zoe can ride on the pegs and we can cruise to parties around her campus on it with a backpack full of beer.

and do you see how cool it looks!

dude holy SHIT you just did my shopping for me!! do you know of a site i can buy that PREDATOR top tube protector?? or any other similar ones?? i don't even know what they're called, much less know how to shop for them.

where did you find all this stuff! i don't know how to shop for bmx things. i need new brakes on the bike anyways, the brake pads they have on now don't come anywhere close to stopping me, just kind of gradually slow me down. those green shoe pads would be so cool. and all the yellow stuff, that's a great idea! black and yellow is my favorite color combination.

for real though if you could let me know where you found all that stuff i will be making some purchases.
