just read it all in one go... loved that Jack isn't selfish
wonderful interpretation on how Ianto feels when he says I love you, even if it breaks my heart too

great fic :D

(quietly hoping for a sequel with Yannis and Jack)

I've often wondered about the 'I love you' thing and came to the conclusion that, just because he's never said it on screen, it doesn't mean that Jack has never said it to Ianto. I can actually see him being more ready to say those three little words than Ianto would (don't ask why!)

*Scribbles plot bunny for a sequel down in plot bunny book!*

I always think they never said it to each other either on or off screen ... which is why Ianto uses his last breath to tell him

I think Jack would just be reticent to admit to himself that he loves and is loved, because that makes the inevitalbe loss just that bit harder to bear - that's how I interpret his 'don't' when Ianto says 'I love you'.

I've got a file called 'Rabbit Hutch' - to store my plot bunnies *g*

Oh, this was lovely! I do love this version of Jack. It's such a pity he's only had these realisations after Ianto's death, but wonderful that he could use his mistake to help Yannis and Saket. It would have been so easy for Jack and Yannis to fall into each others arms, but I love that they both had the strength and respect for their respective loved ones to know it wasn't the right thing and to walk away.

This was gorgeous. I really loved this last chapter with Jack's insights, but the whole thing was beautifully put together. Great job!

I think that Jack is actually a very insightful man, especially given how long he's been around, so it's quite nice to write him actually using those insights. He's a smart guy, is our Captain. *grins*

As for them walking away...well, I'm getting pleas for a sequel! Lol!

I liked this one. I liked that Jack could use his own experience to help Yannis and Saket. Though Yannis was probably perfect for Jack, the timing was just off for them. (Then again, I'd like to think that they've got all the time in the world. Perhaps they'll hook up eventually.)

Really lovely. Poor Jack, though. If he'd only got there a few years sooner.
I love the idea of that world and the way they hid it away. It's really beautiful, and delicious descriptions
