The AC_RunActiveContent is a file automatically generated by Flash when a SWF files is published for the web. I believe it is used to get around an ActiveX issue. I would make sure that all of your browsers have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed, and that your browsers themselves have been updated. I'd also try cleaning out your temp saved files (cache) and making sure that javascript hasn't been disabled for some reason. I've seen firewalls or other such security software block javascript files and image files, so perhaps an update to whatever anti-virus/anti-malware/firewall software you are running has stopped certain content from appearing. That's all I can think of off the top of my head...

Thanks for the tips!

Unfortunately, I already did most of what you said and the issue remains. It seems I'm not the only one with the problem and I have to sit and wait till they resolve it... They say patience is a virtue, right?

Well, good to know I'm not the only one. Yes, it's been about 3 or maybe 4 days now. It's definitely driving me crazy now!

I'm currently using a PC so the issue is not even related to that. I hope they figure it out soon...

I've had this problem two times with LJ before and it drew me crazy. In the end, after trying everything, it got fixed by itself. It's just a LJ bug, it won't last long. *pets*

Though it's kind of reassuring that it will finally end my frustration I was wondering, how long did it take to get fixed both time?

*sighs* I guess now all I have to do is wait.
