Am at work. On a Sunday, as usual. Am going to the Big Day Out this evening, accidentally. So I get to see bands I don't care for especially like Muse, Tool, Jet, The Killers and Crystal Method, though The Presets, violent Femmes and Hot Chip will hopefully be really fun

For once, I have a comment about who you're listening to! My friend's brother is one of The Cassettes, the Pippettes' backing band, who actually write most of the songs (he's a bit of an over-achiever, as he also had a bit-part in Starter For Ten, but I think all Liam's annoyance is mainly fraternal envy :))

And aren't they the band in the Sheila's Wheels commecial, 'car insurance for dumb blonde women'? You may not get this advert in Melbourne though!

How is Starter For Ten? Looks awesome, and no unfortunately, we don't get that ad here but I'll youtube it. Hoep you've had some sleep dear one.

Sleep has been caught up with, almost. Saw Jen yesterday with her mother and found a bridesmaid's dress, and successfully delivered my paper on tuesday as well. Things are winding down slightly, thank goodness, but only twelve days until we go away.

I enjoyed Starter Fpr Ten, although it has cheesy moments. There's a decent best-hits-of-eighties soundtrack as well.

V. glad things seem to be going so well.

You found a bridesmaid's dress? Yay more bridesmaid photos of you I hope. Is this starting to engender a cliche in your mind? It is in mine. How is Jen doing? I do listen to her singing sometimes and wonder if shes still doing it. I'll email her. X
