Inkjet machines are a big quagmire :-/ We usually don't even work on them at work.
I'd say that you're probably pretty safe as far as the generic not messing up the machine. Though the machines themselves sometimes get clogged and all that.
The machines can be picky about accepting generic inktanks, and I'd say that that would probably be the biggest concern, is them actually working; but the bigger recharge operations are probably better-equipment to make sure they work than some small fly-by-night or one-man-in-his-garage operation. That site seems to warranty them pretty well, so it might not hurt to try it out. :)
Hmm...yeah, I think I've purchased from that store before without realizing it was a generic cartridge. Haven't had any problems as far as I can remember. So I might give it a try :^)
