If I am consulting two different sources while writing one paragraph, how do I keep from citing after every sentence? That makes reading the paper cumbersome. I'm using APA style citations.

I suppose it depends a little on what length the paragraph is but I would tend to regard the first citation for each in the paragraph as the only essential one. After that only cite when its not clear which source you're talking about

I would say "According to Goofball[21] and Jackleg[33], blah blah rest of paragraph" because I don't think its a big deal if someone just happens to need to know exactly where to find one single fact and they have to check two sources.
