This week was probably the hardest 7 days of training. All week there were head winds (from Ike) blowing against me making my cycling rides difficult.......then this weekend (Friday-Sunday) I put in 100 miles, finishing the week with a huge climb on the Key Biscayne Bridge

That's all that was going through my mind. There were tons of cyclists there, my legs felt like they were going to fall off, and there was a ridiculous head wind in my face. The last thing I wanted to do was to tip over onto asphalt on the top of that bridge.
And yes, I sleep while riding now.
