actually, jim nabors and ruth buzzi were ROBOTS! and they had a pet, a cross between a dog and a horse that they called--get this!--"dorse!" they frequently left their flying saucer, hoping that each planet they'd land on would be earth, which of course it wasn't.

i LIVED to see these shows ever year. being a few years older than you, i probably remember more about them. any other "memories" you wanna explore?

I don't remember the pet at all. I've been reading on the Internet about these shows I've been posting and it's wild how badly my imagination has butchered the material. This was a totally different show than I remember. I'm sure it would totally spook me if I saw it today.

very famous comedienne back in the '70s. she was one of the "laugh in" women.

Laugh-in was before my time completely. I did catch the tail-end of SCTV.
