Methinks it shouldn't take you too long, leave it growing all over until its long enough to make just the pointy bit it was in until yesterday, that suits you lots. It changes the shape of your face and makes you look wild and slightly mad, which as we all know, is a distinct understatement, but serves as fair warning to any strangers you may meet :)
