Well I never.

Even more staggering, I think, than any of this kerfuffle about LiveJournal falling on its arse (i wonder to myself what kind of uprising there'll be when the Internet collapses altogether), is the fact that my sister just bought me a bacon sandwich. Without me even asking. And it's gorgeous.

speaking of gorgeous )

I think that depends on how you like your bacon. I like mine browned, but not so crisp that it shatters when you bite it, and I sometimes find that grilling it to that point can make it taste somewhat burned, presumably because of the fat spitting and igniting on the grill.

Oh bugger, I have Meat Hunger now, you bad man.

As far as Mp3 layers go, they run on batteries, so any country should be fine as long as you can get batteries. Cool little buggers, I'm looking into getting myself one soon. Maybe, I've survived without anything for 2 years...

Depends what you are looking for as far as Mp3 players go. The Ipod is the obvious choice; stylish, extremely easy to use and pretty funky all round. If you get it from the states its about 70 pounds cheaper! However, you are not covered by the apple warramty as its US only, so that is something to think about, if it goes tits up for any reason. However if you dad is nipping off to any foreign countries he could pick you up one at duty free for about 180 quid rather than the RRP of 220!! Otherwise scan the Mp3 pages of Amazon and read the customer reviews, which tend to be pretty useful!
