in college.

i miss my best friends in boston. it was so much easier saying "hey girls, let's hang out tonight at my house" because we lived three streets down. but now getting together, just for a few hours, is difficult. they're in boston, i'm in westfield. life is... life is different now.

Maybe how in high school if you did bad on a test, homework, or essay the teacher would talk to you and you'd either do better or get in trouble. Now in college no matter how you do you're on your own, so there's a lot more responsibility and shit for studying independently.

College is better in nearly every aspect. I feel I have tons more freedom, I'm actually treated like an adult, and I also respect the teaching ability of my professors. I love my poli sci lecture - these guys know how to engage hudreds of students at a time, and they actually like their work. Plus I love going back to my dorm for a nap if I have time. How often in high school did we get to go home and sleep when we wanted to?

Although I miss homecooked food. And Town Spa.
