I didn't make it in the sense that I smelted the metal myself and forged it into a menorah... I bought it and wrapped it in barbed wire. A couple of my menorahs are from scratch, including one I am making from bone, but a lot of them involve buying various parts of the piece.

On my artist website (coming soon), I'll have descriptions of what goes into the piece and my techniques, so people don't get confused: http://artistandy.blogspot.com/2007/08/commentary-on-my-judaism-in-menorah.html
