Happy belated birthday! I'm sorry I forgot amidst all the LJ drama yesterday. I was notified on Tuesday, but then was like, oh, I'll vgift you on Wednesday. >_>

Congrats on quitting smoking. I'm sure you always knew my thoughts about that, but I loved you just the same, oh my protector. <3

Thanks for the well wishes. It's appreciated all the time, late or not. :) And believe me, I've earned any and all praise I get for quitting smoking. IT. IS. HARD. Even still today. My advice: never start.

Wow, Happy Birthday to you, too! Man, 41... can't even wrap my mind around that one right now. 31 is still kind of intimidating! But I've heard it said that life doesn't begin until 40, anyway. Any insight on that?

I have high hopes for Hilton. Certainly room for growth, and a HUGE IT/Net OPs department to work in. I guess it might be time to sell out. We'll see.

Thanks!! As for the insight, life starts whenever you are ready for it to. That is a step that you have to take for yourself. ;)
I have been in the IT field for many years. The last 7 with Morgan Keegan, 4+ with Service Master and a few years with IBM/TSS before that. There other IT jobs (Shelby County Sheriff's Dept and ComputerLab) that are somewhere in the darker corners of my mind. I am possibly going to have to shop around in then next or so. Harrah's and Hilton would be the two main places I will be looking into. Word of advice... if you don't have them already, GET YOUR CERTS! lol
It will get much more competitive as you rise up through the IT ranks. Best of Luck!
