Well, you'd have to go way back and tell us who played JEER 19 instead of JEU 26 and why. Also, who played COt, burning the blank for 15 points? And what were the few plays before-hand that stuck you with such a terrible rack?

I don't think the real issue is what to do now but what you already missed that put you into this position.

With that said, you have ADZES, SLOPING, and SWIVED as nice hooks for the S. You can probably play TINNY without opening anything up. I don't see an out-in-two, but I am having trouble reading the text diagram.

JEU - that was me; I'm pretty sure that it was a miss - it certainly wasn't a play I'd considered at the time, though I think that I had an S early and was looking to set up as many hooks as possible for it. Of course, my opponent had one as well ( ... )

I'll admit to not being the best at endgames, but it looks like TINNY 8J 9 is a win; it goes down 1, opponent's best response is OFAY N5 18 (going +19); then SNIT 15E is 16, plus 8 (AGO) is a 5-point win. If opponent blocks SNIT (say with FAT 15F), you still have RINS 4K to go out.

Alright, what am I missing?

Mike
