If you only know one person there's always a chance that they'll die and you'll be left alone. The more people you know the more chance there is of someone dying and the less chance you'll be left alone. But when those people are around your age the chances should be low, right? When you're young anyway ( Read more... )

Think of all the trouble he and Neph can get into now.

Now that's an evil and scary thought. Heaven won't know what's hit it!

*hugs* - right now I really wish I could do that IRL. My parents went on holiday this morning so I'm home alone. All of my 'local' friends are either away for the weekend or on holiday. I don't think I've ever felt so alone.

*hug* Make sure you include me in your US trip when you next make one. I dunno when I'll next get to the UK.

Amen. I couldn't have said it better, bro. *hug*

We should all communicate more.

Yes we should. I feel guilty 'cos it's a while since I last chatted with him. As if somehow that would have kept him alive. It's amazing how utterly nonsensical the brain can be at times.

Yeah, it'd been a while for me too -- hell, Andy, I was living less than an hour from Scott for almost a year...I never tried to arrange to meet with him.. :(

But I won't let the guilt-monster eat me...

*hug* I miss you :)

I miss you too. I need to try and make a trip to the US sometime, maybe early next year, where I can see a bunch of people I haven't seen in a long time.

I think he'd have got a kick out of that.

I miss him tons but he'll always be here with us in our minds and in our memories.

This post hit me like a thunderbolt. I didn't know they guy but I've seen him on Live Journal freinds pages. I just clicked through and read his last entry and I'm deeply upset even though I didn't know him. I can therefore imagine how you feel.

It was a lovely tribute Andy. You're a lovely guy x

I'm glad I met him and I'm glad he's no longer in pain. I'm also glad I never had to see him go through what he went through at the end. He was such a great guy and so full of life and that is how I will always remember him.
