I've made a little bit of progress about the use of running water as a defensive tactic. It seems to only bother certain creatures - most notably are creatures that live closer to the cemetery. Least effective seems to be creatures that live within water ( Read more... )

Undergoing such a task would be ill advised until we can better determine its usefulness. Drawing the river through the village will undoubtedly raise threat from water-bound fae alongside any added defense that this effort may bring.

I didn't quite mean the river - I meant a small trickle of it. Of course, I don't know how wide or how deep the water needs to be for the water-based creatures to live in it. If there was a way to find that out, it would make things much easier.

I doubt that an individual of your intellect will trouble on these questions for long, Lord Asplund. [ She doesn't particularly want to give Lloyd any ideas about how to experiment on the fae; she doesn't always agree with his methods. But... ] The research you have conducted on the fae has proven invaluable.
