Moving Forward

So within a few minutes of just looking and talking and researching with my mom, I think I figured out what my next steps are going to be. I've decided that I'm going to apply to University of Denver, for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. It's clear to me that the mechanical engineering is what I wanted, not the aerospace. But it gets better

Who's the other professor you're not sure about? Andrej's experience trying to get letters of rec (with the same initial reluctances) was a profound willingness on the part of the professors in question. It seems they really are invested in how their students past and present fare ^.^

Don't be too nervous. We could talk through those reasons and qualities. 300 words is not so much, but I have been cautioned that although it's a minimum, it's a small faux pas to exceed it by much. I can help you organize that stuff if you'd like!

I've asked Filburn to write me a letter, and I figure I should ask Dr. Bob, and the other person I was going to ask was Adrezin. I don't imagine any of them would have a problem with it, it just feels...lame to not talk to them for months or years, and then suddenly ask them to do something for me
