Seriously, it turns out the Mom of the kid who was paralyzed by a straw bullet a week or so back while practicing piano was the son of a KP employee... in fact, in a department across from us on the 16th floor. Someone forwarded a note reminding people that they could donate PTO hours to the Mom since she's going to need a lot of time to care for him. I think my boss donated. (I have no PTO, so it was moot for me.) These are the times I really am proud of where I work.
